Welcome!  Since 1991 Centastage has been dedicated to the development and production of new works by New England playwrights. Centastage believes that the future of theatre is dependent on the support of new works.  Through its writing group, readings and productions, Centastage provides the Boston area with one of its only outlets for new plays. We aim to nurture and promote the work of local writers, directors, designers and actors.  Furthermore, Centastage believes it is essential to cultivate audience interest in new plays.
